You can sell items at auction sites, like Ebay.com. You can sell items at Amazon.com.
You can start a blog for free, like at Blogger.com and monetize with Google Adsense, Amazon affiliate program or there are many third party programs you can join and add ads to your blog. You can sell craft items at at any online craft store, like etsy.com and there are many others. You can offer to tutor students online. You can write articles and submit to websites, like Associated Content.

First, never, ever pay a fee to get a job. Many scams will want you to pay a registration fee, materials fee or information fee. Run far away from these!

You will most likely not find a true online data entry job. What you will find are jobs that utilize your data entry skills along with other skills. Jobs like at home customer care representative, transcription, writer, proofreader, editor, blogger, telemarketing from home, mystery shopping, virtual assistant, and freelance projects are the most prevalent.

Money can be made online with affiliate marketing. All you need is a computer, access to the internet and a bit of time to learn how.

don’t listen to junai or naren,as they are spammers and scammers(hey,they rhyme!)anyway,anything with fast,easy and/or free is very likely to be a scam.you have to work for long periods of time to actually earn something.i don’t believe in working online but if you decide you really want to look up “making money online”.you’ll see that once it’s entered many options include fast and easy.avoid those.look for something realistic with a down-to-earth author and not some head in the clouds psyco liar.good luck and search cautiously,young grasshopper…lol.don’t try the other people’s answers with links either,like the project payday because it’s also spam and a scam(more rhymes!)

It kind of amuses me that people want to go from nothing to a lofty goal and skip all the intermediate steps, such as educating themselves about what they want to do.
If you don’t know what an e-book is, you need to learn. What about e-books? You want to write one?
The way to make money is to either get paid advertising on your site, sell something, or provide a service others are willing to pay for.
Edit: OK, so far you’ve got one person telling you about wikipedia, which isn’t going to help, two who can’t spell for crap (if you want advice from illiterates, fine) and two people trying to rope you into their own money-making schemes. Forget that survey stuff.
See what I mean? This isn’t going to get you anywhere. There are no easy shortcuts.
